Willow 2026, Taipei, Taiwan
A new 10m x 10m x10m sculpture to be installed in Taipei, Taiwan.
Sitting opposite the banks of the Tamsui river, Willow sits in a specifically designed pool which is gently activated by thousands of slim stainless steel rods which gently touch the surface the water.
As well as expressing a sense of place, the audience is invited to sit and reflect within the artwork. One can meditate on the ever-changing reflections of light and water and make connections to the historic site, the landscape and oneself.
